Today Matthew has been in the hospital for 1 week. I don't know about you, but to me if feels like SO much longer! Lots of good news today. 1. Matthew's surgery this morning went VERY well. He sent me a text this evening that it (surgery) was successful and promising for a full recovery, he said he was doing well. 2. I no longer feel useless....my job is Matt's personal assistant. :) I am answering emails and texts, updating friends and family on his status and VERY happy to do it! 3. Not sure if this will be viewed as good or bad- probably depending on the reader, but Tiger won his 5th Memorial Tournament this weekend.
Matt is resting now and will probably be pretty tired for the remainder of the day. If you don't hear back from him- that is why. But don't let that deter you, keep the messages coming. Matt will read them at some point or my parents will read them to him.
With a sleeping baby, my next job is to bake him some of the World's Best Cookies...and find a way to ship them roughly 7,000 miles without melting. :)
